Winter Desert Maternity Session at Calico Basin, Red Rocks | Henderson, Nevada
If you’ve been around for awhile, you’ll recognize these 3!! I’ve had the honor of photographing Chris & Amy’s growing family for YEARS! Amy is one of my oldest & dearest friends from high school (I realized that we’ve been friends for over half our lives, and WOAH we are old ????). I was SO thrilled when Amy asked me to fly out to Nevada to photograph their family & her maternity photos & literally couldn’t say YES fast enough! We shot this session at Calico Basin by Red Rocks. I am OBSESSED with shooting at Red Rock – it’s so different than anything I’m used to and it’s just so stunning. I actually photographed Amy at Red Rocks when she was newly pregnant with Brandon (who is now 2!) and was blown away by how beautiful it is there.
Amy’s first maternity session was photographed in our hometown at the beach (you’re going to want to click on that link to see some gorgeous shots), so it was only appropriate that we do her second maternity session in the desert!! Brandon kept EVERYONE on their toes, and you’ll see him and Chris get a bit dustier throughout the session, because toddlers ????. I had SO MUCH FUN capturing these & truly feel so honored to be their family photographer!
