Kristin & I planned the styled shoot two days before we left for Las Vegas. We did it via text, sending each other photos of what we found in our closets. We quickly put together a perfect bohemian outfit that we KNEW would look perfect in the desert! As we suddenly realized that we didn’t have a model, I knew that we could count on my best girl who lives in Vegas.
We headed out to Red Rock Canyon (which was incredibly stunning!) & shot some truly gorgeous images. Amy is having her first baby this summer (I CANNOT WAIT!) & her tiny little bump looked so darling in a romper that worked perfectly on her.
Sidenote: Red Rock Canyon is really a gorgeous place & somewhere I actually plan on visiting again. If you’re in Vegas for vacation, I highly recommend getting out of the city & at least driving through the canyon! I was so excited to shoot somewhere that wasn’t snowy (and dang, that desert light is PERFECTION).
Some of these images are film (shot on a Mamiya 645 on a mix of Portra 400 & Fuji 400 & developed by The FIND Lab). I’m so thankful to have friends who are willing to model for us in the chilly desert & who look so gorgeous!!
