Tulum Ruins on Film | Tulum, Mexico | Travel

December 18, 2018

In July, I went on a retreat to Mexico with some of the Ireland girls & even though our faces pretty much melted off (I mean – Mexico in July!?), it was so. much. fun. The weather was hot and humid until a storm would roll in and then it would cool down for a bit – just like home. We visited the Tulum ruins on one of those particular days!! It was excruciatingly hot but when we reached the ruins, the thunder was rumbling and the lightning was flashing over the water. It was absolutely gorgeous. I brought my film camera to the ruins and shot a few rolls & loved how they came out!! So, while I’m freezing by the fire, here are some beautiful shots from Mexico. I’m trying to pretend I’m warm while I look at them ????. Oh, and the last few shots are from the pretty little hotel we stayed out – so picturesque, right!?

Shot on a Mamiya 645, Fuji 400H film, processed by The FIND Lab.
