When Ashley and Trevor told me that they were getting married in Florida, I was like, “HELLO YES PLEASE.” As I learned more about the wedding, I got even more excited – when do we get to shoot weddings on the beach in *October* and not freeze to death!? Their day was absolutely beautiful with bright blue skies (right up until the very end of cocktail hour – how perfect is THAT timing??). The sun shone as they all prepped together – Trevor and Ashley each had 8 bridal party members plus 3 junior bridesmaids & groomsmen PLUS 7 ring bearers & flower girls!! These two are so loved by all their friends and family and it’s completely apparent when you’re around them all!!
Their first look involved Ashley’s adorable son who ran out to see her in her *STUNNING* wedding dress (I’m not kidding when I say this – it is one of my top 5 favorite dresses I’ve ever photographed!!!) and he was just SO excited about the whole day! Listening to their personalized vows made me tear up and watching Rylan step forward with his mom’s & Trevor’s rings gave me allllllll the feels. These three, you guys. They’re the real deal.
A quick rainstorm blew in at the end of cocktail hour, but did NOT dampen anyones spirits for the reception – all the kids came in together and threw themselves a little dance party before the rest of the bridal party came in. Trevor & Ashley’s first dance also included Rylan (seriously, stop being so adorable, you guys) and as everyone started to dance together we all snuck out to the sunset. The sun was peeking through the clouds that were slowly scattering after the storm and it made for the most beautiful light. I get Florida, guys. Those sunsets and white sand beaches REALLY do it for me. We took some of my favorite portraits and ran back inside for the rest of the reception (which got SO good). Wait until you see the photos of their dads dancing ????. Oh, and who can forget about the best man speech which was a rap/mashup of songs like “Roxanne,” “Fresh Prince,” and “Another One Bites the Dust,” performed by all 3 of Trevor’s brothers. I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed so hard during a toast!!
Congratulations, you guys. Your wedding day was complete perfection and I am SO excited for you three to start your lives together!! Thank you so much for bringing me to Florida to document this amazing day!! xoxo
