Jillian & I chatted the week of her wedding and discussed the slight *possibility* of a little rain on her wedding day…at the time, the forecast was changing daily & we were like…ehh, it will change by then!! The morning of their wedding dawned beautiful (not clear, but not raining!!) & we were THRILLED until it started to pour a few hours before their wedding. Despite the total change of plans, new indoor ceremony, and portraits in the rain, Kyle & Jillian were SO incredibly laid back & easy going with the new plans!!
We were so lucky to finally have GREEN on the trees with the prettiest pink apple blossoms all over the place. Jillian looked like a literal fairy princess with her flower crown, flowy blush (!) dress [it’s the second one I’ve photographed this year! Is blush the new lace? Stay tuned.] & adorable lacy Tom’s flats. Kyle looked quite dapper in his gray suit & they were both so happy & excited to *finally* see each other during their first look!! Despite the rain, we all pushed through & got some beautiful photos outside & down by the lake. Although their ceremony was pulled inside at the last minute, they were so thrilled to be getting married that it didn’t even matter! Their reception was SO much fun & they had the cutest cupcakes (Queen City Cupcakes knocked it out of the park with this one!!). The dancing went on long into the night & everyone had a great time!!
Congratulations, Kyle & Jillian!! I’m so happy for the two of you & can’t wait to see where your lives take you next!!
