I met Marisa when we were all little – our moms were Girl Scout leaders & she was in my sister’s class. Her mom was our church school teacher & remained my sister’s leader for a few years while we were younger. Our moms are still friends & we ALL went to high school together! When her email landed in my inbox a few weeks ago, I was so surprised to see her name (it had been YEARS since we’d seen each other). She mentioned that she & her fiancé, Miles, were planning a week long trip to New Hampshire & they’d love to get their engagement photos done when they were here! You know I can’t say no to that :).
New Hampshire weather has a way of getting in the way of plans though, and our original date & location had to be postponed & changed to Wolfeboro. I met Miles & Marisa at Albee Beach & we wandered the rail trail for a few hours, catching up and capturing some seriously adorable portraits. The sun came out for *just* their session & then went behind the clouds again – how perfect is that!? Also, can we just talk about the fact that its FINALLY warm enough to be in the water?? Lake Wentworth was a perfect backdrop to their session & I was thrilled to stick my feet back in the lake for the first time this year! Miles & Marisa, thank you so much for trusting me with your engagement photos & I hope you love them as much as I do!!
