You know when you meet certain people and you’re like – “YEP, this person will be in my life for a looooong time”? That’s Kristin & Michael!! I’ve photographed them in THREE COUNTRIES (what!!) & finally in the US!! We were able to go up to the Central Coast of California for a few days this month to stay with them on their cattle ranch (all those little black specks in the background are cows!). Not only was JB in literal cow heaven, but we were able to explore the area & see SO MUCH in such a short time!! Their ranch is one of my new favorite places – it honestly STILL blows my mind that this place is REAL.
You also know how much I love that delicious California light, and combined with the rolling hills and the graceful trees, *I* was in photographer heaven!! We did the MINIEST of mini sessions (I mean like…10 minutes?) with the last of the light and it was WORTH IT. You’re going to love these photos – especially the last few (have you ever tried to take a photo with 4 dogs in it? JB was literally jumping around behind me trying to get their attention). The cows came up at the end of the shoot because they were so curious as to what we were doing in the hills and I was like…uh, too much nature for me ????. I adore these two and can’t wait to photograph them in the next country we visit!!
