Bridal sessions are quickly becoming some of my favorite things to photograph! Taking the time to put your dress back on (or before your wedding day!!) and twirl around in it is the best thing I could think of. Add in the most picturesque mountaintop and perfect summer weather & it’s literally a recipe for the best photos ever.
My sister got married in April in California at a venue that was (obviously) very different than anything in New Hampshire! When I found out that my favorite nursery has a flower field with pick-your-own bouquets available, I immediately knew I needed to take advantage of it. Sometimes when I’m in the middle of a busy season, I need to take a breather and do something for myself, and this was exactly what I was looking for. I immediately called my sister and asked for my brother in law to send her wedding dress ASAP – I knew that it was going to look incredible with what I was envisioning. The bouquet was whipped together right before the shoot, and I did my sisters hair & makeup & then popped my veil in – VOILA!! Also…prepare to drool over the gorgeous tie dyed white & purple lisianthus flowers!!
This short little impromptu session is literally going to keep me going for the rest of the season!! I had so much fun & I know that my sister did too – girlfriend loved her wedding dress & loves getting her photos taken! PS: she hiked up the mountain *in* the dress!!
