I was SO excited to be able to photograph my last wedding of the year at the incredibly stunning Pickering House in Wolfeboro (just down the street from our house!). The owners have done the most gorgeous renovation of the Inn & the Barn – I mean…I walked in the day of the wedding and my mouth fell open. Joey & Janet pulled together the most ELEGANT wedding I’ve ever seen, from the *hand painted* backdrop to the custom embroidered napkins & personalized programs. Joey & Janet were surrounded by their family (only 20 guests!) & their children served as their bridal party. Joey’s mother married them in a sweet ceremony where I caught more than one person wiping their eyes.
Their wedding happened during the first nor’easter of the season – and they didn’t lose power until the third course of dinner – how perfect is that? Their reception details were MAGNIFICENT (seriously, WAIT until you see it!!). Janet really outdid herself with the smallest little details, including a GOLD wedding dress. Branch & Bloom knocked it out of the park (per usual) & the staff at the Pickering House was so attentive & helpful.
I honestly couldn’t have been more thrilled to be able to work with Joey & Janet and they were complete troopers (especially during their portraits on the porch during the storm!). Thank you SO much for allowing me to capture your day!!
