You know when you’re younger and your parents tell you, “don’t worry, you’ll get along with your (cousin/sibling/etc) when you’re older!” and you think it’s all a total crock? They’re right. My cousin Liz and I didn’t exactly…see eye to eye when we were younger. Basically, she was a princess and my sister and I didn’t have time for that kind of nonsense ????. Today, she’s one of my best friends (and it was her birthday yesterday! Happy late birthday!!), and I was absolutely THRILLED when she asked me to photograph her engagement session. We got to shoot it at the Longwood Gardens Conservatory, which is one of my favorite places EVER, plus they had their orchid extravaganza taking place. If you EVER have the opportunity to go to Longwood, I *highly* recommend it. Not only do they have a stunning conservatory that has everything from cacti to a jungle room to a bonsai room to an orchid room, the entire grounds is unbelievable. Their orchid extravaganza was absolutely incredible (I’ve never seen so many orchids in my life!) and the design itself was worth seeing!!
Liz & Sean didn’t stop laughing during their entire session – which is fair, because I don’t think that I stopped laughing the entire weekend. These two are PERFECT for each other & Sean fits so seamlessly into our family. I CANNOT WAIT for Liz & Sean’s wedding day in November!! Love you guys!!!
