Colorful Summer Wedding at Private Estate in Moultonborough, New Hampshire
Madelyn & Landon got married during one of the rainiest summers on record, and by some absolute miracle, had the most beautiful day. I personally think it had to do with the old Southern tradition they honored by burying a bottle of bourbon one month before their wedding on the property to ensure good weather! These two, along with their families and their sweet Bomber boy hosted one of the most incredible weddings I’ve ever seen at a private home before – from the heart shaped pool floaties to the customized glasses & beer bottles to the cotton candy machine and the fireworks – you pick something out of a hat and they had it! Their ceremony was at the church that they both grew up attending, and cocktail hour and the reception took place at Madelyn’s childhood home. They planned a laid back dinner vibe, complete with a gourmet burger bar, hand scooped ice cream and an entire dessert tent, but my favorite things were the pieces scattered through the day that paid homage to their best boy, Bomber (guys – the seating chart was perfection). Madelyn & Landon are two of the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet, and so are their families – I was so incredibly honored to be able to capture their day! Congratulations, you guys!! xoxo
