I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was for Kelsey & Jon’s Alnoba wedding. This day had been three years in the making—three dates, three sets of plans, three rounds of “Okay, we can pivot”—thanks to Covid. And after all that waiting? Their wedding day finally arrived, and it was absolute perfection… humidity, heat wave, torrential downpour and all.
We began the morning in the Alnoba cabins, where everyone got ready. The energy was already high, but nothing could top the arrival of Kelsey & Jon’s three little dudes—tiny suits, tiny ties, and HUGE excitement. They were practically vibrating with joy watching their parents get ready. Their sweet faces, little bowties, and proud “We get to wear suits!!” energy truly set the tone for the whole day.
The Weather Had Opinions… But So Did We
This wouldn’t be a true New Hampshire summer wedding without a little weather drama, right?
As soon as we got to the main venue building, the sky cracked open and unleashed a full downpour. The kind where umbrellas are basically decorative and everything instantly smells like wet grass and regret.
But then—like magic—the rain passed. The sun came back, the humidity skyrocketed (thanks, nature), and the rest of this Alnoba wedding unfolded without a hitch.
Honestly? The chaos just made the day feel even more memorable.
Portraits on the Alnoba Property — Pure Fire
Kelsey & Jon SHOWED UP for their portraits. Absolute fire. Total naturals. The kind of couple you could photograph all day without even noticing the clock.
If you’ve ever been to an Alnoba wedding, you know how stunning the property is:
-
Rolling fields
-
Sculptural architecture
-
Forest trails
-
Rustic wooden textures
-
Big open skies
-
And every direction is a different type of gorgeous
We wandered the grounds taking advantage of every last beautiful spot. The golden light against the trees, the softness of the summer haze, the wide-open spaces—everything came together in a way that made their portraits some of my absolute favorites of the entire season.
Even in the thick 90° heat? Worth it.
A Reception Wrapped in Summer Vibes
One of my favorite parts of an Alnoba wedding is the reception space. The floor-to-ceiling windows make the entire room glow and bring the outdoors in. It feels modern, warm, and connected to the landscape, which fit Kelsey & Jon’s style perfectly.
During the reception:
-
Guests mingled seamlessly inside and outside
-
The breeze drifted through the open doors
-
Kids played on the lawn
-
Laughter spilled everywhere
-
The dance floor stayed PACKED
It felt like a true New England summer celebration—laid back, joyful, and full of life.
The speeches had everyone laughing through tears, the boys stole the show every chance they got, and guests soaked up every second after such a long wait for this day.
A Day Worth Waiting For
After three reschedules, countless emails, and years of anticipation, Kelsey & Jon finally got the day they deserved. This Alnoba wedding was emotional, deeply meaningful, fun, and full of all the warmth they bring into the world.
Kelsey & Jon — congratulations. Your wedding was everything. And your three littles? Absolute stars.
